Can the system be back-flushed in case of gumbo?

 Yes. In the Gen-1 system, gumbo can be cleared from the Suction Module (SMO) by slowing circulation through the drill pipe. The Gen-2 system includes a seawater inlet valve, enabling gumbo to be flushed off the SMO using the SPM.
